Biografía Thanos Bardas, PhD, Managing Director, joined the firm in 1998. Dave is Global Co-Head of Investment Grade and acts as Senior Portfolio Manager on both Global Investment Grade and Multi-Sector Fixed Income strategies. He is a member of the Fixed Income Investment Strategy Committee and the Fixed Income Multi-Sector Group. Mr. Brown also leads the Investment Grade Credit team in determining credit exposures across both Global Investment Grade and Multi-Sector Fixed Income strategies. Mr. Brown initially joined NBIA in 1991 after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Government and subsequently received his MBA in Finance from Northwestern University. Prior to his return, he was a senior credit analyst at Zurich Scudder Investments and later a credit analyst and portfolio manager at Deerfield Capital. Mr. Brown has been awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Biografía Brad Tank, Managing Director, joined the firm in 2002. Brad is Co-Chief Investment Officer and the Global Head of Fixed Income. From inception in 2008 through 2014, Brad was also Chief Investment Officer of Neuberger Berman’s Multi-Asset Class Investment business. From 1990 to 2002, Brad was director of fixed income for Strong Capital Management in Wisconsin. He was also a member of the Office of the CEO and headed institutional and intermediary distribution. In 1997, Brad was named “Runner Up” for Morningstar Mutual Fund Manager of the Year. From 1982 to 1990, he was a vice president at Salomon Brothers in the government, mortgage and financial institutions areas. Brad earned a BBA and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.

Previously, Tom worked in the Fixed Income divisions of Bear Stearns (1986 to 1998 as a managing director) and Goldman Sachs (1982 to 1985). Tom earned a BBA and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin.

Biografía Ann H. Benjamin, Managing Director, joined the firm in 1997. Ann is the Chief Investment Officer for Non-Investment Grade Credit and Co-Portfolio Manager for high yield portfolios and blended credit strategies. She directs all aspects of the non-investment grade credit business including research, trading and portfolio management. Ann serves on the firm’s Partnership Committee and is a member of the investment team setting overall strategy. She came to the firm with 16 years of experience in the investment business, including eight years at Stein Roe where she managed the Stein Roe Income Fund, the High Yield Fund, and $3.5 billion in insurance assets which included international and emerging market debt. Other experience includes Allstate Insurance Company where Ann co-managed $1 billion in high yield assets and Westinghouse Credit Corporation, where she managed high yield, mezzanine debt and equity securities. Ann earned a BA from Chatham College and a Master’s degree in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University. She is also a member of the Women’s Board of the Lincoln Park Zoo of Chicago.
